About Anne:
Anne Martin is a Chicago-based actor, musician, and performer. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, a minor in Creative Writing, and a certificate in Music Theatre. She is passionate about developing and performing new work.
She recently reprised her role as Hilary Duff in The Hilary Duff Project which returned for its second Chicago production at the Newport Theatre this winter (reviews here and here). She also appears as Val in the latest episode of the web series Life of Harold (Episode 8, “The Bored Games”).
In Chicago, her onstage work includes projects with MCL, Piven, the Arc, (re)discover, and Striding Lion. Her onscreen work includes Uncle Albert (Lily) and Sex, Work (Olive).
In her spare time, Anne enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, watching reruns of Murder, She Wrote and Golden Girls, and whipping through a good book. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
